SB 1630 Summary

• Amends 40 O.S. 2001, Section 165.7 to authorize the Commissioner of Labor to include reasonable costs of service in wage claim orders against employers.

• Allows the Commissioner to collect wage claims through administrative proceedings and permits joining multiple wage claims against the same employer in a single proceeding.

• Requires employers to pay the wage claim amount, any penalty amounts, and reasonable costs of service within 20 days after receiving the order of determination.

• Effective July 1, 2010, with emergency clause for immediate implementation.
