• Requires all individual and group health insurance policies providing medical and surgical benefits to offer identical coverage to individuals under 18 years old diagnosed with autistic disorder as to those without the diagnosis

• Defines "autistic disorder" as a neurological disorder marked by severe impairment in social interaction, communication, and imaginative play, with onset during the first three years of life and included in autism spectrum disorders

• Codified as Section 6060.20 of Title 36 of Oklahoma Statutes

• Effective date: November 1, 2010
