Amends 76 O.S. 2001, Section 18 regarding limitations of actions for medical malpractice claims against physicians, health care providers, and hospitals

Changes reference from "this state" to "Oklahoma" for clarity in identifying which state's licensing requirements apply

Maintains existing two-year statute of limitations from when plaintiff knew or should have known of the injury or death

Preserves extension of limitations period for claimants who are minors or incompetent at time cause of action arises

Becomes effective November 1, 2010
