SB1757 Summary

• Prohibits state government entities from employing or retaining lobbyists as defined in Section 4249 of Oklahoma Statutes.

• Prevents state officers and employees from receiving additional compensation or reimbursement from any person for lobbying activities beyond their normal job compensation.

• Effective July 1, 2010, with an emergency clause making it effective immediately upon passage and approval.
