Amends 11 O.S. 2001, Section 34-104 regarding disposition of property by chiefs of police in municipalities.

Changes notice requirement from "certified mail" to "written first-class mail, postage prepaid" for hearings on property disposition when property value exceeds $100.

Allows property disposition methods to include donation (for items under $500), public sale, transfer to third-party electronic sales agents, or court-approved destruction.

Requires court authorization through district court proceedings before chiefs of police can dispose of unclaimed personal property or money held for at least 90 days.

Becomes effective November 1, 2010.
