Amends Oklahoma law (22 O.S. 2001, Section 1230) regarding the timing of search warrant service on occupied dwellings, which must normally occur between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m.

Allows judges to authorize search warrants to be served at any time if: evidence is only present during nighttime hours; it is a crime scene search; property will likely be destroyed or concealed; or the search involves illegal methamphetamine or controlled substance manufacturing.

Requires that if a search warrant is served on a rental property, the property owner must be promptly notified after the search is conducted.

Search warrants for non-residential sites may be served at any time without special judicial authorization.

Effective date: November 1, 2010.
