SB1828 Summary

• Amends 43A O.S. 2001, Section 2-214 regarding training schools within the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services

• Changes gender-specific pronouns ("he," "him," "his") to gender-neutral language ("the person," "such person") in employment training contracts

• Requires employees or prospective employees receiving salary, tuition, or subsistence during training to contract that they will either continue employment with the Department for a period equivalent to the training or reimburse the Department for amounts paid

• Becomes effective November 1, 2010
