Amends 84 O.S. 2001, Section 231 to expand prohibition on inheriting from victims to include convictions for embezzlement in addition to murder in the first and second degree and manslaughter in the first degree.

Prohibits anyone convicted of embezzlement from inheriting from or receiving any interest in the estate of the person they embezzled from, including through devises, legacies, POD/TOD designations, joint tenancy, or descent and distribution.

Extends the prohibition to insurance policy beneficiaries convicted of embezzlement, ensuring benefits from policies on the embezzled person's life become subject to distribution among other heirs instead.

Requires insurance companies to be notified in writing of claims by heirs before payment of policy proceeds to the named beneficiary to enforce the prohibition.

Effective date: November 1, 2010.
