SB1949 Summary

• Amends the Taxpayer Transparency Act to require the website include a list of agency, lobbyist, or lobbyist principal request bills by January 1, 2011

• Requires state agencies requesting legislators to introduce bills to notify the Office of State Finance within 5 business days of introduction

• Requires registered lobbyists to notify the Office of State Finance within 5 business days when requesting or when their principal requests introduction of bills

• Mandates the requesting agency, lobbyist, or lobbyist principal name be printed on the first page of bills or resolutions after notification is made

• Becomes effective November 1, 2010
