Requires each substate planning district in Oklahoma with a Rural Fire Coordinator Program as of January 1, 2010 to employ a Rural Fire Coordinator to work with rural fire departments.

Rural Fire Coordinators must provide technical assistance on equipment, communications systems, and training programs; administer state and federal grant programs; coordinate fire suppression efforts with the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food, and Forestry; and certify rural fire departments.

The Oklahoma Forestry Services Division of the Department of Agriculture, Food, and Forestry shall provide leadership and support to Rural Fire Coordinators.

Effective date is November 1, 2010.
