Criminalizes the intentional sale, purchase, or administration of veterinary prescription drugs to sedate bovine, equine, porcine, or other farm animals for teeth floating purposes

Violations are punishable under Section 698.18(B) of Title 59 of the Oklahoma Statutes

Exempts licensed veterinarians, their employees, and certain persons already exempt under existing veterinary practice law

Allows non-veterinarians to administer sedation drugs without penalty if authorized by a licensed veterinarian, the drugs are purchased from a licensed veterinarian, and no fee is charged for administration

Effective date of July 1, 2010, with emergency clause for immediate effect upon passage and approval
