OK SB2007

Removes time-specific language from Section 6-107.1 and replaces with age-related criteria for cancellation or denial of driving privileges for minors and young adults up to age 20 who commit certain offenses involving alcohol, drugs, or controlled substances.

Allows modification of driving privilege revocations for first and second DUI/alcohol-related offenses to apply only to Class D motor vehicles, but prohibits modification after two or more revocations.

Extends modification authority to Section 754.1 to include revocations arising under Section 761 (operating a motor vehicle while impaired) and allows modification of second and subsequent suspensions for impaired driving to Class D vehicles only.

Requires installation of an ignition interlock device approved by the Board of Tests for Alcohol and Drug Influence as a condition of any privilege modification, with a modification fee of $175.00 ($100 to General Revenue Fund and $75 to Department of Public Safety Revolving Fund).

Effective date is November 1, 2010.
