SB 2082 Summary

• Amends 70 O.S. 2001, Section 3218.14 to clarify that institutions of higher education and constituent agencies can recommend fees and tuition to their governing boards and State Regents.

• Specifies that recommended fees and tuition cannot exceed limits established by law and must be approved by the State Regents pursuant to Article XIII-A of the Oklahoma Constitution.

• Adds clarifying language by explicitly referencing "of higher education" in the statute.

• Effective November 1, 2010.
