SB 2114 Summary

• Amends Section 521 of Title 37 (Oklahoma Alcoholic Beverage Control Act) to define "bouncer" and establish requirements for individuals employed by or volunteering with ABLE-licensed establishments

• Requires bouncers to be at least 21 years old and possess either a valid unarmed security guard license, armed security guard license, or CLEET certificate, in addition to an employee license issued by ABLE

• Specifies bouncer duties including protecting persons and property, enforcing legal drinking age requirements, and intervening with or expelling intoxicated or disorderly persons from licensed premises

• Provides exception allowing owners or managers acting as bouncers to have only ABLE-issued licenses rather than additional security certifications

• Creates misdemeanor penalty of up to $1,500 fine, up to 90 days imprisonment, or both for violating bouncer requirements; effective January 1, 2011
