Creates the Statewide Virtual School Task Force to operate until December 31, 2010, to explore the feasibility of establishing a statewide virtual school based on findings from the Internet-Based Instruction Task Force.

Task force shall consist of seven members: one Senate member (chair), Senate Education Committee chair, House Common Education Committee chair, one House member, State Superintendent of Public Instruction, and two public school educators/administrators appointed by the Governor.

If recommending creation of a statewide virtual school, task force shall study and make recommendations regarding purpose, structure, enrollment, course types, services, operations location, and funding.

Members receive no compensation but are reimbursed for travel expenses through their respective agencies or in accordance with the State Travel Reimbursement Act.

Task force shall submit findings and recommendations to the Governor, President Pro Tempore of the Senate, and Speaker of the House of Representatives.
