SB 2187 Summary

• Amends 21 O.S. 2001, Section 1157 to clarify that all provisions relating to burial of dead bodies and interference with dead bodies apply equally to severed human body parts separated during a person's lifetime

• Changes reference from "article" to "title" in the statute to correct the organizational reference structure

• Changes verb form from "applying" to "apply" for grammatical consistency with the statute's provisions

• Becomes effective November 1, 2010
