Amends 51 O.S. 2001, Section 155.1 relating to the Governmental Tort Claims Act by clarifying that the reference is to "the Governmental Tort Claims Act" rather than "this act"

Maintains existing immunity from tort liability for the state regarding defects or dangerous conditions on roads, streets, or highways that existed on or before October 1, 1985, or when they became part of the state highway system

Clarifies that political subdivisions are not liable for defects in roads they are not required to maintain, specifically in areas where the state has maintenance responsibility by law

Effective date: November 1, 2010
