Amends 22 O.S. 2001, Section 36.1 to make language gender neutral by changing "he" to "he or she" regarding dog handlers.

Police dog handlers using dogs in line of duty according to their law enforcement agency's policies are protected from civil liability for damages caused by the dog.

Civil liability protection does not apply to claims covered under the Governmental Tort Claims Act.

Effective date: November 1, 2010.
