• Amends 22 O.S. 2001, Section 36.1 regarding civil liability protections for police dog handlers

• Makes language gender neutral by changing "he" to "or she" when referring to dog handlers

• Updates terminology by replacing "said dog" with "the dog"

• Dog handlers using police dogs in accordance with law enforcement agency policies remain protected from civil liability, except under the Governmental Tort Claims Act

• Effective date: November 1, 2010
