Increases minimum prison sentence for first conviction of child trafficking from 1 year to 5 years and maximum sentence from 3 years to 10 years.

Changes punishment for second or subsequent child trafficking conviction from a minimum of 3 years imprisonment to death penalty with no possibility of sentence suspension.

Requires mandatory post-imprisonment supervision for persons sentenced to 2 or more years (except life/life without parole sentences) under Department of Corrections conditions per 22 O.S. Section 991a.

Applies to all forms of prior child trafficking convictions and requires jury notification of mandatory post-imprisonment supervision requirements in addition to prison time.

Effective date: November 1, 2010.
