Recognizes T. Boone Pickels' contributions to the State of Oklahoma, including his advocacy for reducing dependence on foreign oil and promoting natural gas development.

Acknowledges Pickens' philanthropic donations of nearly $1 billion, with more than half directed to Oklahoma organizations, including a record-setting $500 million to Oklahoma State University divided equally between academics and athletics.

Thanks Pickens for his generosity toward Oklahoma and welcomes him to the State Capitol.

Designates May 12, 2010, as "T. Boone Pickens Appreciation Day" in the State of Oklahoma.

Directs that a copy of the resolution be distributed to T. Boone Pickens.
