Designates April 9 as Veterans Awareness Day in Oklahoma to honor veterans and their service and sacrifice.

Acknowledges approximately 300,000 veterans currently residing in Oklahoma and over 77,000 receiving disability compensation or pension payments.

Notes that the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs expends over $1.5 billion annually in Oklahoma through state veterans homes and federal VA hospitals and clinics.

Creates new statutory law codified as Section 90.20 of Title 25 of the Oklahoma Statutes to establish the permanent annual observance.
