Oklahoma State Senate commends Reverend Hassan Mansaray, President of 4HIM Sierra Leone, for his humanitarian work with widows and orphaned children in Sierra Leone, West Africa

Reverend Mansaray has provided emergency relief including food, shelter, and medical care to thousands, and has served as a father figure to more than 94 children for over a decade

Since the end of conflict in Sierra Leone, he has overseen construction of an orphanage, 23 churches, 19 schools, and a trade school for women who are victims of human trafficking

He is currently working with Oklahomans and Oklahoma State University to develop agricultural education programs to improve food production in Sierra Leone

Resolution adopted by the Senate on May 12, 2010, with a copy directed to be distributed to Reverend Mansaray
