Oklahoma State Senate supports establishing an Oklahoma Music Trail to promote tourism and economic development by highlighting significant musical heritage sites across the state

The Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame and Museum would coordinate, plan, and provide administrative support for the Trail, including approving individuals, places, or events for inclusion

Sites along the Trail would honor musicians born in Oklahoma or who spent significant portions of their careers in the state, including residences, commercial buildings, and other historically significant structures

A detailed map, brochure, website, and dedicated markers would promote Oklahoma's musical history, heritage, legends, and folklore

Copies of the resolution to be distributed to the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame and Museum, Tourism and Recreation Department, Historical Society, Film and Music Commission, and Department of Transportation
