President Pro Tempore authorized to hire necessary employees to conduct Senate business and protect Senate property during the 2010 legislative interim.

Prohibits private organizations, state executive agencies, departments, and their employees from using the Senate Chamber, meeting rooms, or offices during the interim without President Pro Tempore consent.

President Pro Tempore authorized to approve repairs to Senate Chamber and offices, purchase equipment, supplies, furniture, and fixtures, and approve related claims.

President Pro Tempore authorized to appoint Senate members to interim committees and approve reimbursement claims for members and employees for official business expenses during the interim.

Powers granted are cumulative and do not replace any other powers conferred by law or rule.
