Oklahoma State Senate expresses gratitude to Senator Joe Sweeden for his service in Senate District 10 and the Oklahoma State Senate

Senator Sweeden was born April 7, 1961, in Pawhuska, Oklahoma; holds an Associate's degree from Northern Oklahoma College and a Bachelor's degree from Oklahoma State University

Sweeden served in the Oklahoma House of Representatives since 1998 and in the Oklahoma State Senate since 2006, reaching the 12-year term limit imposed by State Question No. 632 (effective January 1, 1991)

Resolution recognizes Sweeden's advocacy on public safety, farming and ranching, children and education, and property rights
