Thanks Sheila Ford for 35 years of dedicated service to the Oklahoma State Election Board and Oklahoma State Senate.

Designates Thursday, February 25, 2010 as "Sheila Ford Appreciation Day" in the Oklahoma State Capitol.

Notes Ford was the first African American hired by the Oklahoma State Election Board and was rehired by the Secretary due to her diligent work ethic.

Wishes Ford well on her retirement and directs distribution of the resolution to Ford, her family members (daughter Nikki Davis, grandchildren Rodney Cole Jr. and Taryn Cole), and her sisters Belinda Morton and Juanita Ellis.
