Oklahoma State Senate acknowledges the government's obligation to review arson convictions obtained using evidence now known to be unreliable.

Urges government and private attorneys and fire investigators to review questionable arson convictions and supports judicial review of cases where faulty science was used.

Urges the judicial branch, law enforcement agencies, and other relevant government entities in Oklahoma to employ NFPA 921 as the standard method for conducting fire investigations.

Directs distribution of the resolution to the Innocence Project.
