HB 1120 Summary

• Authorizes the Department of Transportation to expend funds from the State Transportation Fund for fiscal year ending June 30, 2012, and transfers said funds to the State Highway Construction and Maintenance Fund.

• Appropriates monies to the Department of Transportation from the State Transportation Fund for FY 2012 and establishes requirements for minimum spending on industrial site roads, economic development roads, and historical site/lake access roads.

• Sets budgetary caps on full-time-equivalent employees and expenditures (excluding capital projects), and limits the Director's salary to a specified amount per annum.

• Authorizes the Department to use available funds to match federal disaster relief funds under P.L. 93-288 in coordination with the Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management, and to cooperate with federal agencies for grants and federal aid.

• Establishes fiscal year budget procedures allowing appropriations to be budgeted for either FY-12 or FY-13 with specific encumbrance and lapse date requirements, and becomes effective September 1, 2011.
