Military students on active duty status of more than 30 days, military reserves on active duty orders of more than 30 days, or Oklahoma National Guard members become eligible for in-state tuition regardless of residency.

Eligible military students must be admitted to and continuously enrolled in a full-time or part-time program leading to an associate or baccalaureate degree at an Oklahoma higher education institution.

Spouses and dependent children of eligible military students qualify for resident tuition under the same conditions as the military student.

Military students transferred out-of-state by military orders retain in-state status for themselves, spouses, and dependent children as long as they remain continuously enrolled in Oklahoma institutions.

Discharged or released military service members (other than dishonorable discharge) who establish domicile in Oklahoma may retain in-state status without the standard 12-month waiting period; effective July 1, 2011, with emergency clause.
