Amends 68 O.S. 2001, Section 1357 regarding general sales tax exemptions by adding a new exemption for eligible food and beverages as defined in the federal Food Stamp Act (7 U.S.C. Section 2011 et seq.), as the act existed on January 1, 2011.

Creates sales tax exemption for all eligible groceries and food items that qualify under the federal Food Stamp program, expanding existing partial exemptions for food products.

Effective date of July 1, 2011, with an emergency clause declaring immediate necessity for preservation of public peace, health and safety.

Adds new paragraph 43 to the list of general sales tax exemptions in Oklahoma law.
