Amends 63 O.S. 2001, Section 1-732 to change the presumption of fetal viability from "more than twenty-four (24) weeks" to "more than twenty (20) weeks" of gestation.

Maintains the prohibition on abortion after an unborn child becomes viable unless necessary to prevent death or serious health impairment to the pregnant woman.

Requires physicians to certify in writing the specific medical criteria when determining a fetus is not viable despite meeting the presumption threshold.

Mandates use of abortion methods most likely to preserve fetal life and health, unless the physician certifies in writing that alternative methods present significantly greater danger to the woman's life or health.

Becomes effective November 1, 2011.
