HB 1639 Summary

• Amends 82 O.S. 2001, Section 105.4 relating to water diversion in natural or artificial watercourses

• Clarifies language by replacing "such" with "the" when referring to parties entitled to use water and reclaim it from watercourses

• Allows water turned into a watercourse by an entitled party to be reclaimed and diverted below, subject to existing rights and Board-approved loss allowances

• Becomes effective November 1, 2011
