Amends Section 11-103.6a of Oklahoma Statutes to remove requirement that the State Board of Education adopt K-12 Common Core State Standards for English Language Arts and Mathematics by August 1, 2010.

Deletes language mandating curriculum alignment with Common Core State Standards and the 15% allowance for additional standards beyond the core standards.

Retains requirement that the State Board review each subject matter curriculum every six years and implement revisions to improve education quality.

Declares an emergency, making the act effective immediately upon passage and approval.
