OK HB1837

Amends 29 O.S. 2001, Section 4-112 relating to hunting licenses under the Oklahoma Wildlife Conservation Code.

Expands the hunting license exemption to include legal resident owners or tenants who hunt on land owned or leased by them.

Maintains existing exemptions for persons under 16 years old, seniors 65+, residents born before January 1, 1923, disabled veterans, youth in child care facilities, and participants in organized rattlesnake-hunting events.

Preserves the fee structure for resident and nonresident hunting licenses with no changes to license costs or wildlife fund allocations.

Effective date: September 1, 2011.
