OK HB1988

Amends 21 O.S. 2001, Section 1111 to expand the definition of rape to include a new category covering victims aged 16-19 who engage in sexual intercourse with persons in ministerial roles (pastors, clergy, religious leaders, youth ministers).

Maintains existing rape definitions including offenses involving victims under 16, mentally incapacitated victims, use of force or violence, intoxication, unconsciousness, spousal deception, and abuse of authority by state/federal/local employees.

Adds protections for students aged 16-19 under school custody who engage in sexual intercourse with school system employees aged 18 or older.

Effective date: November 1, 2011.
