Registered voters signing a petition for town incorporation must have resided in the proposed town for at least 60 days immediately preceding the signing of the petition

Petition signatures must be gathered no more than 30 days prior to the petition being presented to the board of county commissioners

Petitions must still be signed by at least one-third of registered voters in the proposed town or at least 25 registered voters, whichever is greater

Affidavits authenticating petitions must verify that signatures comply with residency requirements, replacing the previous requirement to simply verify voters are registered in the proposed town

Plats or maps for incorporation must be certified by both a registered land surveyor who prepared it and the landowner, clarifying previous ambiguous language
