Increases the small claims monetary jurisdiction limit from $6,000 to $10,000 for actions based on contract or tort, replevy of personal property, and interpleader actions.

Requires a small claims affidavit to include a statement acknowledging that the plaintiff is disclaiming the right to a trial by jury on the merits of the case.

Updates language throughout the statute by changing "attorneys fees" to "attorney fees" and "said" to "the" for grammatical consistency.

Adjusts the threshold amount triggering automatic transfer to the regular district court docket from $6,000 to $10,000 when a claim, counterclaim, or setoff exceeds that amount.

Becomes effective November 1, 2011.
