SB 176 Summary

• Amends 62 O.S. 2001, Section 166d to update the statutory reference from "Office of Public Affairs" to "Department of Central Services" regarding management of the Southern Oklahoma Resource Center of Pauls Valley.

• Removes the general expenditure language allowing royalties, bonus monies, and delay rentals to be spent "in the same manner that other treasury funds of said institution are expended."

• Restricts use of accrued monies in the revolving fund to budgeting and expenditure exclusively for construction of new residential buildings at the Southern Oklahoma Resource Center of Pauls Valley.

• Establishes an effective date of July 1, 2011.

• Declares an emergency to allow the act to take effect immediately upon passage and approval.
