Amends 40 O.S. Section 61 to clarify employer immunity when disclosing employee job performance information to prospective employers, presuming good faith unless information is false and employer knew of falsity, acted with malice, or showed reckless disregard for truth.

Expands prohibition on employer handling of employee personal identifying information (including social security numbers, home addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, driver license numbers, bank account information, and biometric data) by adding requirements to redact social security numbers when disposing documents, prevent unrestricted file access, and prohibit use as occupational license or employee identification numbers.

Prohibits employers from publicly communicating current or former employees' personal identifying information to the general public unless written consent is given for specific purpose, during criminal investigations by law enforcement, or pursuant to court order.

Codifies existing social security number restrictions including prohibitions on public posting, printing on employee access cards or distributed documents, transmission over unsecured Internet, and use as sole authentication for website access.

Declares an emergency, making the act effective immediately upon passage and approval.
