Amends 47 O.S. 2001, Sections 11-1003 and 11-1004 to provide exemptions for waste management vehicles engaged in solid waste or recycling collection and disposal.

Waste management vehicles are exempted from parking prohibitions on sidewalks, in intersections, near street excavations, on bridges/underpasses, and at locations with official "no stopping" signs.

Waste management vehicles remain subject to prohibitions against parking in front of driveways, near fire hydrants, crosswalks, fire stations, and railroad crossings.

Waste management vehicles are exempt from requirements to park parallel to curbs with right-hand wheels within 18 inches of the curb while performing collection and disposal activities.

Effective date: November 1, 2011.
