SB 464 Summary

• Amends 69 O.S. 2001, Section 316 regarding certification of county road mileage by the Transportation Commission to the Oklahoma Tax Commission

• Requires the Transportation Commission to certify county road mileage annually by June 1st, based on mileage existing on January 1st of each year

• Includes in county road mileage calculations any streets or roads in municipalities under 2,500 population that the county maintains, and streets/roads in municipalities under 5,000 population that the county has agreed to construct, maintain, or repair

• Adds roads removed from the State Highway System and returned to county road systems to the total county road mileage

• Becomes effective November 1, 2011
