Oklahoma State Employees Benefits Council must select and contract with providers to offer group TRICARE Supplement products to eligible state employees who are TRICARE beneficiaries, beginning with the plan year starting January 1, 2012

Membership dues for TRICARE Supplement products must be paid entirely by the employee, with no employer contribution or compensation allowed

State employers may only provide administrative support for the TRICARE Supplement benefit under a qualifying cafeteria plan, and employee participation must be completely voluntary

Employees electing a group TRICARE Supplemental benefit will not receive any flexible benefit allowance toward that coverage

Effective date is July 1, 2011, with an emergency clause for immediate implementation
