SB 706 Summary

• Amends 70 O.S. 2001, Section 5-106 to clarify that boards of multiple school districts contracting with one superintendent must do so as provided in Section 5-106A of Title 70 (not Section 4 of the bill).

• Changes language from "of this act" to "of this title" to correct cross-reference to Oklahoma statutes.

• Maintains existing provisions allowing superintendents to serve simultaneously as principals in districts with fewer than 500 average daily membership pupils.

• Effective date: November 1, 2011.
