Appeals of judge recusal motions must be filed with the Oklahoma Supreme Court, which must rule within 10 days.

If the Supreme Court fails to rule within 10 days, the judge may continue deciding the case until the Court determines the appeal.

Any decisions or orders made by the judge before removal remain valid if the judge is subsequently recused, unless reversed by the successor judge.

The Administrative Director of the Courts must promulgate rules to implement these recusal procedures.

The act becomes effective on November 1, 2011.
