• Requires permission from surface owner, surface lessee, hunting lessee, or lawful occupant to enter private land devoted to farming, ranching, or forestry; first offense penalties increased to $500-$1,500 fine with restitution for damages.

• Second or subsequent trespassing offense on agricultural land punishable by $1,500-$2,500 fine and 30 days to 6 months imprisonment, plus restitution.

• Increases penalties for hunting or discharging firearms within 440 yards of churches, schools, or public gatherings from $25-$300 to $500-$1,500; second offense penalties set at $1,500-$2,500 fine or 30 days imprisonment.

• Makes shooting from or across public roads, highways, or railroad rights-of-way onto licensed cervidae facilities or big game commercial hunting areas a misdemeanor punishable by $2,500-$10,000 fine and up to 60 days imprisonment, plus restitution.

• Effective November 1, 2011; exempts peace officers, government employees, emergency personnel, and utility workers performing official duties.
