Amends 70 O.S. 2001, Section 3311.4 to update language regarding continuing law enforcement training requirements for certified peace officers.

Requires all active full-time peace officers certified by CLEET to complete minimum 25 hours of annual continuing training, including mandatory 2 hours on mental health issues.

Inactive certified peace officers are exempt from training requirements during inactive status; officers inactive 5+ years must complete 100 hours of refresher training including 4 hours on mental health education within one year of re-employment.

Tribal officers cross-deputized with Oklahoma law enforcement agencies must comply with the same training requirements as state peace officers under Section 1221 of Title 74.

Effective date: November 1, 2011; non-compliant officers face suspension of certification until they demonstrate full compliance with training requirements.
