OK SJR15

Directs the Secretary of State to refer a proposed constitutional amendment to Oklahoma voters that would add Section 36 to Article II of the Oklahoma Constitution.

Prohibits the state from granting preferential treatment or discriminating against individuals or groups based on race, color, sex, ethnicity, or national origin in public employment, public education, and public contracting.

Includes exceptions allowing bona fide sex-based qualifications necessary for normal operation of public employment, education, or contracting, and does not invalidate existing court orders or consent decrees in effect at the amendment's effective date.

Permits actions necessary to maintain eligibility for federal programs where ineligibility would result in loss of federal funding to the state.

Establishes that remedies for violations shall be the same regardless of the injured party's race, color, sex, ethnicity, or national origin, consistent with existing state antidiscrimination laws.
