Legislature disapproves emergency rules OAC 158:80-1-1, 158:80-1-2, 158:80-3-1 through 158:80-3-6, 158:80-5-1 through 158:80-5-8, 158:80-7-1 through 158:80-7-3, 158:80-9-1, 158:80-11-1 through 158:80-11-4, 158:80-13-1, and 158:80-13-2 relating to the Roofing Contractor Registration Act.

Construction Industries Board lacked statutory rulemaking authority to promulgate rules for the Roofing Contractor Registration Act under Senate Bill No. 2180 of the 52nd Oklahoma Legislature.

Emergency rules were signed by the Governor on November 15, 2010, and became effective but are subject to legislative review and disapproval.

Secretary of State directed to distribute resolution copies to the Governor, Construction Industries Board Administrator, and Oklahoma Register editor.

Emergency clause declares immediate effectiveness necessary for preservation of public peace, health, and safety.
