Oklahoma State Senate congratulates Frederick A. Douglass High School Boys Basketball team on winning the Class 4A State Basketball Championship for the second consecutive year with a 64-52 victory over Bridge Creek Bobcats.

Team compiled a 25-4 record during the 2010-2011 season and has not lost to any school within Oklahoma for the past two years.

Douglass High School Boys Basketball team was nationally ranked every week of the 2010-2011 season, reaching as high as 7th nationally and currently ranked 26th.

Team competed in the semifinals of the Beach Ball Classic in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and the championship game of the Bass Pro Tournament of Champions televised nationally on CBS.
